First Flush Darjeeling

First Flush Darjeeling is quite rare and highly sought after. The first sprouting of tea leaves on the Camellia Sinensis plant, known as a “flush,” marks the start of the season. Because this flush is the first batch the tea plant produces after winter dormancy, it has an incredibly unique flavor profile. First Flush teas are more delicate, aromatic, and resemble green teas in their dry and brewed states. This First Flush Darjeeling tea was deliberately harvested, withered, roasted, and sorted exclusively for Art of Tea and is available in a limited release while supplies last.
